Send large files via email with Adobe’s new SendNow plugins

We tried this app in the early beta a couple of years ago and found it did not perform as well as Sendit and other established FTP type programs for sending large files attached to emails. This time around the Adobe desktop app and Outlook plugin seems to be working as expected without any glitches to date.

If you work with plan drawings, CAD files, large video or picture files, go grab the desktop app or the Outlook plugin. Both are a breeze to install and it’s free!

Deepcool laptop cooler

We see a lot of laptops with heat issues which is a bit like having high blood pressure and not being aware of it. Hard drives that are overheating are one of the leading causes of data loss when the drive suddenly fails. You can check the temperature of your hard disk and keep a check on it by downloading this free tool from Active HDD Monitor, then going to options and tick the box to load when Windows starts,  to monitor the temp of your drive.

We have bought in a big box of DeepCool laptop coolers suitable for 15.4″ laptops. This model retails at $29 but yours free with every onsite service call for our Perth customers, until the box is empty. Please let us know if you want this item when calling! No backorders. Free USB Volcano

As some of you may have noticed, Google organic search results (that’s the part you don’t pay for) have merged with Google Maps to better relate to real time location based search queries.

We wanted to test out the new Google Maps API and see how many people respond to the offers section, so we are offering everyone a free USB Volcano for xmas with every service call. The only catch is you have to ask for it and mention where you seen it.

The free offer lasts as long as stocks last or until December 20, whichever comes first.

MS Office Students Ultimate Offer $75

office-ultimate1.JPGEven the usual Student edition is twice this price, though I’m not sure why the Microsoft promotion is for Ultimate and not the Basic or Pro version. So just don’t use the bits you don’t need like Groove and Infopath. But it has all the other programs such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Outlook.

You can buy it at and the offer is extended for a little longer.
